Prior to this I have tried on two Estee Lauder foundations and I loved them, EL does superb products. This is the cheapest in the list. Its a simple yet effective primer to add some brightening to the skin.Its a silky pink primer,the primer color doesn't interferes and goes on transparent - no color on blending ,almost all skin tones can use it unless very deep skin tones it may appear a bit ashy. it contains light reflecting pigments to brighten the complexion. It comes in a cute glue stick like container. And you turn click the base of the stick to dispense the product out of the vent at the top. A few turns dispense enough product to cover the whole face.
It brightens up the skin, evens out the complexion,it does helps makeup to lasts longer,and the foundation does goes on more smoother.you wont feel oily ,but hydrated. And this is the one among the whole batch which even oily skins can use,when they want a little bit more shine without the fear of getting to much oily during the day. Being oily skin , keeping the oil at bay and still appear radiant is a very tricky combination.
5. Charlotte Tilbury Wonder Glow
Charlotte’s Wonder Glow works to diffuse light it gives skin an instant radiant glow, while boasting anti-ageing benefits. It claims to be a cross between skin care and makeup...an anti-age regime and a complexion-enhancing light diffuser to give your skin an instant 'spotlight' effect - yes lots of promises.In a nutshell, like any other highlighter this stuff gives your skin the appearance of glowing & hydrated skin, that fab dewy effect! This golden illuminator apparently blurs away lines and fills your skin with luminosity. This primer claiming to be a mix between skincare and makeup, this serum-like liquid adds amazing glow to the skin whilst containing skincare ingredients such as Sodium Hyaluronate and peptides.it blurs out minor imperfections but don't expect dramatic changes for pore coverage.
Really beautiful and easy to apply,it smells nice, a very subtle rose scent. Again, this makes skin look radiant and glowing, it can be used by itself, before foundation as a primer or after foundation.The Only downside is, no SPF. But The finished result looks flawless and very 'glowy' as you'd expect, but in a very natural, radiant way.
6. Hourglass Nº 28 Primer Serum
This is another two-in-one anti-aging and hydrating primer that uses a mix of essential oils to really hydrate the skin while preparing it for makeup application. This mineral-based primer is water-resistant and contains SPF15, so it’s the perfect pick for all year round. It strengthens the natural moisture barrier ,banishes redness and with evening out the look of fine lines, wrinkles and pores it also claims to soften the lines and wrinkles with time. .
The “28” in the product name refers to the formula’s key ingredients, including essential oils, plant oils and vitamins. The texture of the Primer is interesting. It feels almost like a dry oil, but it is doesn't feels thick or sticky at all once it is spread out. Once it is absorbed extremely soft to the touch with a bit of luminosity, and one thing is for sure a little goes a long way,a half to one pump is enough for one use. It has a slight herbal sort of smell ,to me it feels like a bit camphor.But the smell is not the issue with this one as it disappears fast. It didn't show drastic difference in extending wear time of makeup with it. If you want a super luxurious experience and can afford this price tag, this is definitely something I recommend for dry to very dry or mature skin.Oily skin stay away

These days, products are becoming so much more versatile and sophisticated, which saves us ladies time and money (well sometimes but you know what I mean.) This is how Tom Ford Beauty describes their primer.
This is another 2 in 1 product which claims blends the worlds of skincare and makeup. Its said to increase cellular vitality, helps protect the skin against free radicals and contours the features while enhancing texture, toning and visibly brightening the skin.
A product like this can be tricky if you have skin issues like excessive acne or deep wrinkles ,and large pores because it can highlight these issues.Any skin which is fairly in good condition with less visible pores, with this primer skin look very dewy and luminized with your natural skin shine peaking through. .It does blurs out the pores and lines and minor imperfections, Though the longevity of makeup doesnt shows much difference compared without it. As for the skin care benefits for instant effects it does shows brightening effect on the skin and hydrating the skin ,but as for long term effects the results are not very dramatic or visible,so better keep a skincare regime along with its usage.T
he finish on this is luminescence and makes your makeup look just that much better. I also appreciate that the SPF doesn't looks white or ashy even in flash
This primer could b either yay or nay. so I would recommend you get a sample and see how it works on your skin alone or under foundation. Before you pick up the full size.
