We all love our makeup products and want to keep all of our collection forever, but following the makeup expiration dates is actually crucial. Why? Because cosmetics traps bacteria and with its ingredients getting expired can make it hazardous for you.So, replacing your makeup in timely manner is essential to keep your away from skin irritations,breakouts or even eye infections.
Unlike the edible product makeup expiration follows a little bit different track, rather than following "use by date,makeup expiration is more dependent on the first day you open and start using it regardless of the date of purchase.
Now,the next question is how would I know if my makeup is expired and needs a replacement. Do I have to throw everything away altogether. The answer is no, you dont throw away everything together neither everything goes bad at the same instant of time.
Technically The more moisture a product has or the closer it comes to the eye the shorter is its life span,once its opened. Apart from expiration time lapse some other indications separation or changes in texture or the smell/fragrance being changed are signs that your product has gone bad.

Tips: You can Keep your foundation bacteria free for longer just by keeping your fingers away from the neck of the bottle or plunging your fingers inside it,(your fingers carry germs). Instead, a much better way is to gently drip a sufficient amount of the foundation onto the back of your hand before you apply and using it from there to apply. If you notice your foundation starts to separate,with visible oils it’s definitely time to replace it.The more oily the foundation the faster it needs a change.

FRAGRANCE

Tips: When you notice a change in the texture of your lip products they either getting dry out or more oily,then its time to replace your favorite lipstick. Tips: Now,this fellow needs very frequent replacement. Replacing your mascara regularly is incredibly important to keep your eyes save and to avoid any sort of eye infections. Keep Switching it every three months at max., or sooner if you notice the formula get being changed a bit clumpy or the smell turns a bit weird a sign it needs a change. And no matter how much you love your bestie never ever share your mascara with anyone.

Tip: Store your nail paints in a cool dry place, and upright position. Heat and direct sunlight can make your nail paint discolored faster.

PRODUCT PREVIEW: Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Cream Kit

Today ,we are talking about the ANASTASIA BEVERLY HILLS CONTOUR CREAM KIT...
After the Tremendous success of the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Kits last year,

starts this year with taking the contouring to the next level with its cream contour kit.And it is launched, on 17th Feb. Its only being retailed at the ABH website currently.

Here is what the palette looks like. It is gorgeous.

The palette retails for 40 USD. The reasonably priced palette, comes in three shade ranges. Light, Medium and Deep.  Each kit contains 6 pans including highlight, transition, and contour shades (medium kit has a color corrector/cream blush in the form of 'coral').
The pans contain 4.5g of product each and are magnetized/removable. The palette that holds the pans is magnetic top and has a clear window in front.

You cannot purchase them in a set like the photo above. That is a promotional kit but ABH may release a full set in the future (like the contour book). For now, you will have to buy each kit individually to obtain the 3 shade ranges. ABH will not be selling individual pans (refills) right now. This may change in the future.

I always I prefer a cream to powder contour,as they do offer a much more definition,for a more sculpted look. The ABH contour cream kits come in a huge array of colors,a range for every person's needs.  I'm really glad they made one for each skin tone.Let’s talk about the product. They are highly pigmented and offer medium coverage. They are not meant to act as a full coverage product (as like a full coverage foundation),they were created for adding dimension to the face and enhancing the features. However, they are not meant to be a full coverage product (like full coverage foundation). Once blended in they sheer out a bit. Once the cream is dry and set ,it is budge proof, they don't feel sticky or tacky,neither they need a powder to set them in once set.Though you can use a powder over them (translucent or tinted) depending on you preference for adding a little bit more the sculpting or very oily skins to ensure oil free wear during the whole wear time.

The contour shades are quite warm in the light and medium kit. The deep kit has an ashy brown shade called espresso. Cinnamon is a beautiful tan color (in all kits)it can be used for a bronzed effect or as a transition to blend in the darker contour shades. Another plus of these palette, the Warm coral in the medium kit can be used as a color corrector or cream blush. If you have hyper-pigmentations or dark scar, apply warm coral before putting on your usual concealer.


Lastly All Anastasia Beverly Hills products are cruelty free :)
Its a must buy ,any one who craves a perfect sculpted face.
