Dandruff is a very common hair and scalp issue these days, while its very unhealthy for the overall health of the hairs, it can be also very embarrassing hair conditions that one may face. It starts from tiny visible flaking and in worst cases it can reach up to constant itching which can in turn lead to scalp acne. Today I will share a homemade hair mask having all the ingredients just from you kitchen rack which will help you deal with this very issue of hair problem. And these are yogurt and apple cider vinegar
Yogurt is another miracle beauty ingredient packed with anti-oxidants, vitamins, calcium and loads of protein. While on one side yogurt has moisturizing properties on the other hands it’s a great remedy for controlling excess oil in greasy oily hairs and scalp by washing away the excess unrequired amount of oil. This magic ingredient with combined with Apple Cider Vinegar can create a very useful mask for treating and controlling the dandruff issue. So, let’s begin
YOU WILL NEED:
1. Yogurt – ½ -1 cup (the amount of yogurt used depends on the hair volume and length)
2. Apple Cider Vinegar – 1 Teaspoon
3. Honey - 2-3 Teaspoons
HOW TO MAKE IT:
1. Take a bowl and add in the yogurt, honey and then the apple cider vinger and mic it well
2. Apply the mixture now to the scalp first the working out from the roots to the ends of the hairs thoroughly covering the whole head.
3. Let it sit on your hairs for about 15-25 minutes and then rinse it out with warm water
4. After washing out the mask, you can shampoo and condition your hairs as usual,and feel the less scratchy scalp and more shiny hairs.
We added a bit of honey as well to pack in the mask with more moisture. Apply this mask at least once a week, within after a few applications you will see difference in the dandruff issue, the hair would be less oily and more shiny and manageable. Not only people with dandruff only can use this mask anyone who has very oily scalp issues, or dull hair complaints can use this mask.
TIP: Don’t add too much apple cider vinegar as too much, you can increase max to 2 teaspoons depending on hair length if yogurt is increased.
