Cracked Heels do not appear in just a single day, when we start to neglect out feet and its care for a long span of time we end up in getting dry, dehydrated feet and cracked heels. And another reality is that cracked heels are not that easy to get rid of.
The main reasons that are of the appearance of the lack of moisture in our feet and due to the calluses that develops with time with the lack of proper routine for the care of your feet. And when these cracked heels reach their peak point it may end up in extreme cases of bleeding, pain and very difficult to stand on your heels easily.
So before you reach this point just wake up and start taking care of your feet . In an effort to soothe these many people tend to spend a lot of money on the creams which promise a relief but sadly most of them don’t fulfill there promise. There are some very simple and effective home routine which can effectively help you get rid of the cracked heels. This routine would involve a simple method of getting rid of the dry and cracked skin, and then moisturize the skin.

For this method you will need:
  1. A small tub
  2. Salt -1 teaspoon
  3. Any mild Soap
  4. Lemon -1 medium size
  5. Foot filer
  6. Foot brush
  7. Towel
  8. Glycerin/Vaseline
Now, follow the simple steps below:
1. SOAK
Fill in the tub with hot water. In this water add salt, soap and squeeze out the lemon juice in it. Now, in this water soak your feet for around 15-20 minutes or so (depends on how much hard the skin got).  Sit back and relax while the hot water works to soften the hard dry skin.

2. EXFOLIATE:
Now, comes the important part, once the dry dead skin is softened, this needs to be scrubbed off, You will start doing it with the foot filer make sure you cover the whole heel area and the other dry area of your feet while you’re doing the scrubbing part.

3. BRUSH:
After all the scrubbing is done take out your feet out of water and start brushing your whole feet, top and bottom , vigorously to brush off the dead skin.

 4. WASH &.DRY:
Now wash off your feet with warm water and towel dry feet by by patting them gently.

 5. MOISTURIZE:
This is another important step which will help your feet to recover from the dryness and to prevent any future crack. For moisturizing you would using either oure glycerine or Vaseline to whatever you can easy access to. Now take a small amount of your moisturizer in hand and massage your feet gently one by one. Keep massaging your feet. So that blood circulations speeds up and your skin absorbs as much glycerin as possible to relive cracked heels.

6. PROTECT:
Now you need to protect your newly relived heels and help it to lock in the moisture. For this cover your feet with thick socks. Make sure you keep your feet covered for at least two hours. Repeat this process once a week especially in winter to avoid any further issue of cracked heels, if your feet are in a extreme dryness condition it may take a few weeks to make them recover completely. Remember to apply glycerin/Vaseline or any other foot care cream of your choice to keep them hydrated and to avoid any future cracked or dry heels.
