PRODUCT REVIEW:Tarte Tartelette Amazonian Clay Matte Palette

As-Salam-O-Alykun GLAM'YEES...
Today its a review of an eye shadow palette...
The Tarte Tartelette Palette is the new all matte shadow palette from Tarte, with 12 neutral eye shadows all MATTE.I was very excited about this palette. I use neutrals alot, plus they were all matte!

PACKAGING

1

The packaging is beautiful. The palette itself is made of a reflective rose gold plastic material with a snap closure. The front has a purple gradient background with some of the rose gold showing through with the Tartelette name and Tarte logo.
The palette itself is quite small, as it easily fits into one hand. This is a great option to travel with because of its size. The packaging is travel friendly, as it is slim, yet sturdy. It's pretty as well and the big mirror will stand up by itself, which is a big plus. This palette appeared misleadingly large in online photos, but each shadow contains 1.5 grams of product, which is the same as a full-sized MAC shadow.

COLOR

Its an all matte eye shadow palette, consisting of 12 eye shadows. All of the 12 eye shadows belong to the neutrals shade family. The top row and the bottom row feature everyday neutral brown and beige colors while the middle row has mauve/purple colors. Its perfect for everyday looks. Infact these are very wearable for everyone as they allow you to create any kind of look ranging from subtle to dramatic.
This palette is for anyone who enjoys doing eye looks. The all matte palette has multiple beautiful transition shades, a few highlight shades and of course some deepening shades. This palette can be used alone daily or can be mixed with any other palette if you want to add some shimmer.

PIGMENTATION

1

All of the shadows are very pigmented and smooth. They might look chalky on arm swatches, but they apply beautifully to the lids with a brush, and Simply no issues in blending. They are incredibly easy to work with due to almost no fallout, and they wear beautifully throughout the day with a good primer, and they feel very light over eyes.

INSTRUCTIONS INCLUDED

1

The palette was accompanied by an instructional card which is a helpful addition to anyone looking for a bit of guidance. It shows you how to create a day time look and a night time look. I honestly feel like they are very similar to each other and use the same techniques, just with different colors. It would have been nice if they had demonstrated some different techniques, especially to help makeup newbies. However, I can appreciate that they even included some sample looks to recreate.
