Chanel Paris COCO Madenmoiselle EDT Review

As-Salam-O-Alykum...Glam'Yees...
Today the product in review is Coco Mademoiselle EDT .I ADORE Chanel Mademoiselle because she shows that classy and fun, elegant and relaxed can be embodied by the same woman (scent).
The fragrance creator is Beatrice Piquet who created eau de parfum as well.Coco Mademoiselle was introduced as eau de parfum in 2001, as well as eau de toilette in 2002. Both compositions were created by Jacques Polge – perfumer forChanel since 1978.
Feminine edition Coco Mademoiselle was presented as pure perfume as the very essence of this edition. The composition is focused on two characteristic ingredients of Chanel editions – jasmine absolute and May rose absolute. Delicate flowers are enhanced and enriched with a touch of Florentine iris.
The company website describes it as."Fresh Oriental fragrance recalls the irrepressible spirit of the young Coco Chanel. An elegant, luxurious spray closest in strength and character to the parfum form. Spray lightly on pulse points morning and evening. The classic bottle signifies personal luxury and is a welcome addition to any dressing table." (source:chanel)

PACKAGING

The outer box is simple minimalist signature coco chanel box, with a hint of gold going on as borders.
This is the sort of bottle and perfume that would sit on an antique dresser of a lady. She would like sort of own the most sophisticated stuff from the worldwide brands.Any Chanel perfumes for that matter are for finer ladies.Coco Mademoiselle’s juice is housed in a bottle that is similar to Chanel No. 5’s legendary flacon. It is “bare and structured.” The eau de toilette’s bottle is considered to be abstract. It is rectangular and very vertical. Its cap is pearly white.

FRAGRANCE

Coco Mademoiselle is marketed to women in their 20s and 30s, leaving Chance to the younger crowd. This is something really different from my other collections. It has the best, wonderful scent. Its oriental-fresh, floral jasmine-rose accord as light as a petal scent really smells amazing.I get an initial blast of citrus, more bergamot and grapefruit than orange, which is gone within the first hour. This settles quickly to the floral heart. Overall delightful and complex, but not overpower or too out there. It makes me feel polished and feminine, not too mature and not too girly. Also lasts whole day. Parfait!!
Difference between parfum and EDT
The parfum, however, goes straight into the sweetish floral territory before turning into an almost identical dry-down as the EDP's. Projection is excellent for both, but as expected, the parfum is stronger and more potent. I believe the EDP is more suitable for casual wear, whilst the parfum is when you need to bring out at special occasions. I love this perfume and I always keep a bottle of it.I also own its moisturizer, its equally amazing when you make your fragrance last even longer layer it with this.

UNIQUE ASPECTS
This is Chanel! A pro in itself.
Perfection in a bottle!Feminine and unique, it represents the romantic, classy woman that wants to be different but not in an eccentric way. It stays lovely even after being washed with soapy water, with more floral notes dominating the scent. Silage and projection are still excellent even after a few hours and a few washes. The patchouli perhaps came off a bit too strongly at first application, and for a moment. But, soon the top notes calmed down to reveal a beautiful rose.  Litchi, Jasmine, and Bergamot came into the fold in a lovely symphony with the musk.

ICKY ASPECTS
I don't like telling people what perfume it is I am wearing when asked as I don't want them all wearing it!

Not recommended for - For those who prefer more edgy ,Oriental ,woody or very sweet fragrances

This masterpiece by the house of Chanel embodies a lot of things: this is my absolute all time favorite perfume. Its so delicate and feminine but not "girly".; it really is a sophisticated and mature fragrance.  It can be worn every day, on an important evening,a tad pricey. (But then again: it SMELLS expensive, so you get what you pay for!)
